December movies & $ for Charity

I’m amazed we had time for two movies this month!

Another month and another chance to contribute money to charity.  Add your 5 words (or less!) to mine in a comment and earn $1 for charity.  Once we get to $100 the person with the most reviews will choose the charity.  Click here to see the past winners, the charities they chose and the other reviews you can add to.  Anyone is welcome to join in at any time.

We’re at $16.

I hope that you will take a few minutes to participate when you can each month.  It’s fun for me and for everyone else who reads it.  I’m not looking for a critical review, just a few words about how you felt about the movie.  This is ongoing so you can leave your 5 words anytime.

Still curious about what’s next.

Throwback tacky, non PC, fun.

Forgettable attempt at social commentary.  (Kathy)

I saw The Toy years ago but don’t remember much about it so I’ll say, “Forgettable attempt at social commentary.”

By the way, you need to see Brooklyn if it comes near you.

I haven’t thought of The Toy in years. Quite the throw back! I watched that one multiple times growing up. My uncle loved that one.

I enjoyed Insurgent. I’m really curious about the next one too.

This probably isn’t much of a review, but I have to say it–Caillou’s Holiday Movie – Preschooler Favorite, Parents’ Nightmare.

Star Wars Force Awakens – Action-filled, great cast, fun.

My problem is that I can’t remember if we watched Insurgent or not. We saw the previews to the next one – Allegiant? (think that’s the name) and my husband said, did we see the middle movie? I couldn’t remember. Maybe we need to watch it again.

Oh my goodness, I know I’ve seen The Toy, but again, can’t remember it. I haven’t thought about Jackie Gleason for years. Or Richard Pryor. LOL
