W€hat a great list! I’ve seen many of these but I’m sorry to say that I haven’t seen several of the older classics. I’ve always wanted to borrow some from the library but it never seems to happen. A current favorite that I never get tired of is Steel Magnolias. I just love those southern women and how they can insult each other and still make it sound polite. There are so many wonderful lines in that movie. And anything that makes me laugh is always a good thing!
A lot of your faves are my faves too! What a great idea…I think I may have to do the same thing on my blog!!! Hope you don’t mind!
Great list of movies! I applaud you for putting them all down in a list and making the choices. I should get around to doing that with books and movies one of these days. There are so many good ones!!
We have the same tastes in movies – I’d put a lot of your list on my top 100 movies as well!
Awesome list, not sure how you could put them in any particular order 🙂
You have plenty of variety, so you’re doing something right.
I think of Psycho as the ultimate one-timer though. Maybe I need to appreciate Hitch’s direction more and focus less on the story.
Variety is the spice of life. Or something like that 🙂 I haven’t seen Psycho for a while so I may feel the same way when I see it again.
Great list, some true classics here! Some I still have to see and will do so very soon, including Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner and Judgement at Neurenberg. Romancing the Stone is such a guilty-pleasure watch, isn’t it? I also want to re-watch What’s Eating Gilbert Grape.
