April’s movies with $ for charity

I hope that you will take a few minutes to participate when you can each month.  It’s fun for me and for everyone else who reads it.  I’m not looking for a critical review, just a few words about how you felt about the movie.  This is ongoing so you can leave your 5 words anytime.

Add your 5 words (or less!) to mine and earn $1 for charity.  Once we get to $100 the person with the most reviews will choose the charity.  Click here to see the past winners, the charities they chose and the other reviews you can add to.  Anyone is welcome to join in at any time.

We’re at $19

I started using Letterboxd this year thanks to Sandy.  If you are interested in rating your movies and keeping tabs on your friends, check it out (sort of like Goodreads).  I’m stacybuckeye if you want to follow me and get a few more than 5 words about the movies I watched.

Friends with Benefits is the only one I’ve seen … eye candy and lovepanky 😉

PS sent you email about book win.

Here’s my 5 words … Haven’t seen any of these! B.G. (Before Garrett, ha!) we used to see movies all.the.time. Now we’re lucky if we rent one every once in a while. I’m bummed The Expendables didn’t catch your attention … that looks like my type of movie. We did just rent Red 2 – terribly disappointing, I really liked the first one. Just goes to show you that 98% of the time the sequel doesn’t work.

Expendables — Many haven’t aged well – eek!

Love your comment on that one, Stacy. Plastic surgery for sure. (My face is too tight and odd and icky!)

Reposted from another post…I finally watched the first of The Expendables movies. I grew up watching all those action heroes thanks to my dad who was a big fan. He loved The Expendable movies when he was alive. My final thoughts: Lots of action, little substance. I won’t be watching another one.
