2010 opened quietly with Jason and I enjoying dinner out, going to the movies and planning trips but is closing a bit differently, with quick dinners in, Netflix, and no trips on the horizon. At the end of February, the evening before we left for San Francisco, we found out I was pregnant. It was a fun and scary trip. My mood went from excited to scared to happy and around again. Here I am in San Fran 6 weeks preggers with Gage .
Here’s my post about our trip.
Once back in Ohio we still weren’t telling anyone, not even parents, and we had to plan our trip to France. I’m so glad we started planning before we knew I was pregnant or we may not have done it. The trip was wonderful but Gage did make his presence known in the form of morning sickness and lots of it.
Here’s Gage in France and my two posts about our trip (post 1)(post 2). You can see that he is already showing himself 🙂 I was a little nervous about being in a foreign country during pregnancy, but no major problems and the trip was a huge success.
After France we had a relatively quiet summer and fall until he officially made an appearance.
I don’t know what our travel plans will be in 2011, but I’m sure traveling with an infant will be a bit more complicated!
Gage and Jason and I hope you had a very happy Christmas.
He’s getting so big already! I love the duck!!! I’m so glad you got to go to Paris before he arrived, however! :–)
Sounds like this was an extra special Christmas because of Gage. Cute
We took some fun family trips when the kids were a little older than Gage. (Think Chevy Chase vacation type trips, LOL). I love the pic of Gage in his Christmas shirt!
This has been such an amazing year for you and your family! I went to San Fran on a conference when I was preggo and walked the Golden Gate bridge and all around that beautiful city. I am so glad that you got some wonderful travels in before Gage arrived. Many families travel a lot and it can be done. We tended not to for health reasons as our son had major food allergies. I’m glad that you enjoyed your first Christmas with Gage!
I’m sure you had a very special Christmas this year. Thanks for sharing the photo.
What a sweet post! Looks like your family has had a wonderful year and I wish you all the best for 2011!
I hope you, Gage and hubby had a fabulous Christmas and wish you an even better year to come!
This was the best Christmas ever because we got to share it with Gage. He is so cute! I love the picture. You and Jason have taken some great vacations and I know there will be many more to come with Gage. By the way – you are the best parents!
How quickly he is growing. Still so cute.
Gage looks sweet!
No worries. You can travel with him. My parents could with 4 kids.
😀
A traveler from jump! Lots of people travel with their kids. Friends of mine took their newborns to Scotland as soon as they could, so don’t worry about it.
Hope your first family Christmas was wonderful 🙂
I love all the pics 🙂 And look at Gage, ain’t he the cutest!!!! awww… I just want to give him a kiss on those lovely cheeks 🙂 🙂
Gage is so big now! I’m glad you made the trip to France. 😀
