I don’t usually do this two weeks in a row, but this doubles as a look at my Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-Thon pile and as a way to use the gorgeous leaves in my yeard 🙂

1. THE DIVING BELL & THE BUTTERFLY by Jean-Dominique Bauby
2. The Housekeeper & the Professor by Yoko Ogawa – Wordlily
3. SAM”S LETTERS TO JENNIFER by James Patterson
4. The Funny Thing Is by Ellen Degeneres – Wordlily
5. TRUE TO FORM by Elizabeth Berg

6. DAMAGE by Josephine Hart
7. A GRACIOUS PLENTY by Sheri Reynolds
8. The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver – Julie H.
9. Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh – Julie H.
10. The Postman Always Rings Twice by James Cain – Strangelove

I have no clue about the titles but I do love the leaf idea!
4: The Funny Thing Is …
I love the leaves, and I think I know one today! I think #2 is The Professor and the Housekeeper.
You have 100% of the title, but it’s not correct 😉 Can you guess the author too?
You are so darn clever! What a great idea!! I know some of the authors but I don’t think I know any of the titles this week (except #4 of course!).
#8 makes me want to say A High Wind in Jamaica but I don’t think that’s quite it.
Not correct, but you’re right, it does look like it!
So, that makes #2 The Housekeeper and the Professor by Yoko Ogawa …
#6 Looks like something by Malorie Blackman, but I don’t know what.
I knew #2, but was here too late!
I have no idea about the rest!
We need a good strong wind to come along and take care of those leaves! 🙂
LOL!
The leaves are a great touch…more tough ones!
I’ll guess #9 as The Shellseekers.
Sorry.
10 is the great The Postman Always Rings Twice from James Cain!
Well darn, I was so sure I knew that one, but I got it backwards!
I’m not familiar with any of those except #2. 😛
Love your concept, Stacy!
Very cool idea!!!
Is #9 The Shell Seekers (Rosamunde Pilcher)?
The mini series with Vanessa Redgrave was great, as the book.
But my cover is different.
Oops! I don’t know where my head was. It’s not the Shell Seekers.
wow, I cannot identify the rest but the leaves are gorgeous, look at all the colors 🙂
Just want to say that I also enjoyed your use of the leaves in this one.
Alright, back again to try once more! How about The Bean Trees for #8??
Because I put it in the rules I need an author too.
So, I’m not giving up on #9!
Could it be Moon Shell Beach by Nancy Thayer?
Sorry! Is #9 The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver?
And now that I’m on a semi roll, I finally remembered my other guess for the one with the shell(9). Is it Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh?
You are on a roll!
Yes! And number 3 still bugs me, it looks so much like a Sparks or Patterson cover. When will you reveal all?!
