Favorite Book Giveaway

Click to viewI love lists.  Last year I decided to waste many hours compiling a 100 Favorite Books list.  This is certainly not a perfect list.  I rarely re-read books, so I relied on my memory.  Some are on the list because of the way they made me feel, some for the way they made me think, some for pure fun, and some for the way they shaped my childhood.  The list will forever be changing, but that’s part of the fun, right?

So, for my 11th and last birthday giveaway I will be choosing one winner on October 31st.  And what that winner wins is up to them.  The winner will choose any one book from my 100 Favorite Books list!!!  I’m pretty sure that everyone can find at least one book on that list that they want.  A few clarifications…I will choose the BRAND NEW edition you win and if there is a series of books listed you still only win one book, but which one is up to you.

***I will have 3 Monday quizzes before I pick a winner (QUIZ 1 – QUIZ 2).  For every question that you answer correctly first, you will earn one extra entry (so for 10 questions there are 10 extra entries up for grabs).

    Wow, that’s an awesome list. You have good taste. 😀 Most of the books there are either books I’ve read and enjoyed, or books I’ve bought and haven’t read yet – but really want to!

    It’s hard to pick just one to enter for… I’d be really interested in reading anything from Diana Gabaldon’s OUTLANDER series, though. I’ve heard so many good things about her, but for some reason her books have just never come in my way.

    …you’ve totally inspired me to do my own list, now. Which may or may not be a good thing. This could be worth HOURS of procrastinating from things I *should* be doing…. 🙂

    I started a 100 favorite books list after I discovered yours last year and didn’t get very far. You’re right – it’s a lot of work! I’d love to be entered. Thanks for the great giveaway.

    I already knew you had good taste, so I’m not surprised to find Jane Eyre and To Kill a Mockingbird high up on your list. We also have a few more favorites in common! I’d be happy to sample any of your favorites!

    You have great taste in books – so many on your list would also be on mine. I would love to win The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell as so many people have told me how good it is. I am sure if would end up on my top 100 list once I’d read it.

    Oh, you have a great list. Some titles I wouldn’t agree on, but more than 70% are books that I would choose as well.
