“You could apologize before she asks you to,” Matt said as he parked the truck. “Old people like apologies and polite stuff like that.”
“Yeah. I hear they also love being referred to as ‘old people.’ ” Sarah muttered.
The Quilter’s Apprentice by Jennifer Chiaverini, Chapter 3
I haven’t started this book yet, but after flipping through to find a teaser I’m looking forward to it. I’m a failed quilter, so this should be fun 🙂

hahaha funny, not just old people who like apologies. Hope you’re enjoying this one!
That’s a cute teaser…I will be reading this one with my book club next year, so I will be looking forward to your review.
Yes, us ‘old’ people REALLY hate that word! In fact I try not to call myself old. I reserve old for anyone older than me. Sorry you failed as a quilter but the book sounds interesting.
I like the cover of the book. My teaser is up!
LOL!
I really liked that!
Tuesdays: Teaser/Whereabouts
Now I like that. As we grow older we definitely revise our expectations of just where “old starts”!
I’ve had this one on my TBR list for ages now. I should give it a look before I get any older (older? who? me?) – everything I hear about it sounds good. Nice teaser!
This was one of the few funny teasers this week. Good pick.
That’s excellent – sounds like it’s going to be a funny book.
LOL 🙂 Old people love polite stuff like that. 🙂 Hee hee.
I’m not a quilter, but I did like this book. I remember that I really enjoyed the dialog in this book. I love witty comebacks!
LOL! I liked this book when I read it several years ago.
I’m not a quilter but I envy quilters and the beauty they create! I enjoyed this book and the series. I haven’t read them all but they are very enjoyable books to read.
