I’m trying to remember if I’ve seen Planes, Trains and Automobiles. I don’t think so–at least not all the way through. And I know I haven’t seen It Happened One Night. Romancing the Stone was a fun movie. 🙂

Does Thelma and Louise count as an “on the road” movie?
I remember watching it for the first time and being amazed at the ending.
Thelma and Louise is the only one I could think of too. From the previews it looked like a great road trip movie. The the ending. Like Kathy, I was amazed. How could they not make it a happy ending?! However, it had all of us thinking and talking about the movie long after it was over which is my test of a great movie.
Oh Thelma and Louise is definitely a good one. The other one I thought of was RV with Robin Williams. That just made me laugh!
