This week’s movie topic is all about Tear Jerkers…
The Bumbles aren’t big criers. In fact we find “a good cry” to be quite the oxymoron. So therefore we don’t go looking for sad movies – but every now and then a movie tricks us into thinking it is going to be perfectly fun and some damn sad scene gets snuck in there. Why don’t you share some others with us so that we aren’t caught off guard without our tissues?
Here are a few movies that have caused a tear or two to fall
1.Old Yeller – can’t handle death or injury to animals
2. E.T. – still don’t understand why he had to leave
3. Terms of Endearment – I was a mess!
4. Schindler’s List – brutality and hate are hard to watch
5. To Kill a Mockingbird – when Atticus walks out of the courtroom…well, you know.
6. The Passion of the Christ – same as 4
7. Dead Poet’s Society – loved this movie, but it got me.
8. Love Story – anything titled Love Story should n0t be sad!
What about you? What’s the last movie that made you cry?

I cry at just about every movie. The last one that made me cry was the last one I’ve seen – The Soloist.
I need to add that to Netflix!
I have been known to cry from a Hallmark commercial…so it is an often occurence for me. But the last movie that really made my cry more than normal was probably The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Loved it!
Waiting for that from Netflix!
Awww – E.T.! Right on with that one. But I blame that on being a sentimental kid when I first saw it.
And of course you know I agree with To Kill A Mockingird. Good stuff.
I’m the crying type who rates movies by how many Kleenexes to take along. The last one I loved crying with was The Secret Life of Bees.
I forgot about Dead Poet’s Society! I’d like to watch that one again.
Oh–I’ll have to edit my list after reading yours. I watched old yeller when I was a kid and it made me cry, That brings to mind “Where the Red Fern Grows” and a number of other animal stories. I also love “Love Story” my movie meme
I don’t think I can ever watch Passion of Christ again. I was an emotional wreck for days!
