Fess up. What your dream job?
All my jobs have been great… I’ve been semi-retired for a few years, and taken on a number of small projects (some paying, some not). Field biologist, school reformer, wetlands activist, author, ecotherapist — all done from choice and (mostly!) with joy.

All of those jobs sound very dreamy. Except for the biologist I’d love to give all of those a try!
I’m just impressed that you take the time to come up with top 10s. Very nice.
No. 6 and No. 10 sound pretty good to me. The problem with bed tester is I would never wnat to get up from the first bed I lay down in!

I’m sure I’d have the same problem 🙂
I’d love to be a philanthropist! I’d love to have enough money to give $100 tips on a regular basis and things like taht.
Wouldn’t that be nice?
I’ve been kind of lucky to have a dream job for the last 18 years, working from home doing medical transcription, a lot of times while still in my PJs. I thought I had found a second dream job working at Michaels but after six months realized that even though it is a craft store and I love crafting, retail is retail and that is no dream. Philanthropist would be a great dream job because of course I’d have to have oodles of money 🙂
Retail is retail for sure. I was a bookstore manager for 5 years and needed to take a break – even though I loved the book parts of the job and the people I worked with!
Interesting. I was thinking that if I felt the need for more income I’d try Barnes and Noble.
It’s a perfect part-time job!!!
Yes, I’d love the philanthropist job too. I actually did have my dream job at the library – part of my library job anyway. I processed all the new materials – was the first to touch the new books. The only problem was I had so many other duties, I was always behind and had to rush through this most of the time. I actually like shelving books and do that as a volunteer weekly and I love moderating our mystery group.
I think most jobs involving books are a win 🙂 Maybe one day I ‘ll win some lottery that I never buy tickets for and can live the rest of my life passing out money. I wish the same for you 🙂
What a great list Stacy! It’s fun thinking about trying some of these. I can see me being a chocolate taster and a philanthropist.
Philanthropist is the one everyone wants!
I’m doing my dream jobs. Just not making any money from them… I knew I was missing something 😉
LOL. Yes. I wish reading were a job.
Considering some of the cookie fortunes I’ve gotten, I think I could really make a good living at writing fortunes.
chocolate/wine/beer/cheese taste tester for me too! I’d love to have the know how on traveling and being a foodie. Travel photographer would be amazing. Working with big cats is also at the top or even training small cats and being a cat whisperer like that Jackson guy would be amazing.
Loving the dream jobs!
