I know I’ve been absent lately. I think that’ll get better 🙂 I finished my first 30 Day Challenge of finishing a book day. Pop on over to the blog to check out the wrap up. Now I have plenty of books to review this month!
For October I’m planning on a 2-3 mile nature walk everyday to enjoy the gorgeous fall weather. I’d love to have you join me.
Because of all of my reading we only managed one movie, and that was last night on the last day of the month!
Another month and another chance to contribute money to charity. Add your 5 words (or less!) to mine in a comment and earn $1 for charity. Once we get to $100 the person with the most reviews will choose the charity. Click here to see the past winners, the charities they chose and the other reviews you can add to. Anyone is welcome to join in at any time.
We’re at $35.
I hope that you will take a few minutes to participate when you can each month. It’s fun for me and for everyone else who reads it. I’m not looking for a critical review, just a few words about how you felt about the movie. This is ongoing so you can leave your 5 words anytime.
The Magnificent Seven, 2016 (Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Byung-hun Lee, Peter Saarsgard) Grade C
Men bust up Old West town.
I haven’t seen that movie. We walk 3 miles a day, six days a week, so I’ll be joining you most days. I hope you have grand weather for your challenge.
Yay! I know that only walking 2-3 miles outside is something most people do already, but even though I love to walk I’m not consistent at all and go months without it. Maybe it’s the Cleveland winters that always break momentum.
Good for you on the 30 day walking challenge. I try to get out most days and to hit 6K steps on the fitbit. Here’s to a good month!
My fitbit quit working and I haven’t replaced it yet 😦
Let’s ruin another old movie. (In fairness, I haven’t seen it, but how often are remakes not embarrassing?)
I didn’t want to see it because 1-I generally don’t like westerns (High Noon is the exception) and 2-I never saw the original. I always wanted to see the original but now I’m not so sure.
How great that you’ve done so well with fitness goals. I joined YOGA a month ago 3x a week and love it so much (I hate exercise) but this is so enjoyable. I also try to walk 5,000-6,000 steps a day.
Yay! Yoga is great but I’ve never done it consistently enough.
Magnificent 7: The Original was probably better.
(In fairness, I haven’t actually seen the 2016 version)

(But in fairness, I haven’t actually seen the 2016 version)
