    Wow! What a great list. It inspires me to get my book-reading back in gear. Thanks for sharing your well-rounded book list. Oh, and I love your blog – so many interesting tidbits.

    I agree, this is a great rounded list. I have read many of them too, and seen/come across many, but not all of the others. I like how you’ve counted series together, as they’d take up too much room otherwise, in many cases.

    Wow! Great list – I think I would have trouble coming up with my 100 favorite since I love so many books and authors. Since we seem to have some of the same taste, I think you would like Barbara Kingsolver and Adriana Trigiani.

    Thanks for the recommendations. I’ve read Prodigal Summer by Kingsolver, but nothing else. I’ll have to try Trigiani. The list was a time-consuming affair that took me about two weeks. I’ve tweaked it since then. You should try it. Thanks for the feedback.

    I like your blog, but had never noticed this part of it. I love your list. I noted we share a guilty pleasure that involves Myron Bolitar (or maybe an assumption on my part). I also see Fear Nothing on your list – have we talked about Watchers by Koontz? Another great read.
    I had opportunity to sit and chat with Jeffrey Deaver one day when we attended a conference together – very nice guy – he wrote a short story for our group in about an hour, then printed it out for us.
    Again, what a great list you have! Thanks for sharing it.

    Don, I love Myron and Chris Snow. My husband is reading Watchers right now and tells me he’s met Einstein. When he’s done I’ll have to read it. That is very cool about Jeffrey Deaver. That’s my biggest problem with the few writing workshops I’ve attended – writing on demand is not for me! I love your blog and it’s many lists 🙂

    Wow Stacy, this is quite a list! Any of the Twilight Saga books have also been recommended to me (see comment by littledevil26)as was The book of Lies by Brad Meltzer – I’m intigued by the tittle!
    It was very nice to see you earlier today.

    I read Twilight last month, the review is on the blog, and thought it was okay. I don’t plan on reading the rest of the series though.

    It was fun reading through your diverse list. I’ve enjoyed several of them. I lloved Watership Down!! I’m not sure what criteria you used to narrow down your list. It definitely must have been a very challenging endeavor!

    I’m on book 4 of the Twilight saga. I liked book 1, book 2 was too depressing, book 3 was better, more going on, surprise alliances and book 4 I’m just starting but looking forward to the marriage and the conclusion.
