I Should Watch More Movies
I miss going to movies! I don’t know when I’ll feel comfortable doing that again, but hopefully soon 🙂
I haven’t been to a movie since March of 2020! I don’t know when I’ll feel comfortable again either. When and if herd immunity is reached? yikes….
The Black Klansman – Denzel’s son + True Story = Magnificent
The Ritual – Awesome folk horror; book (is) better.
Murder on the Orient Express – Christie great with star power.
The Midnight Sky – Slow burner; much to contemplate.
Can’t believe how many of the movies on your list I haven’t seen!
Jason loved The Ritual! I probably would have liked The Midnight Sky better if I hadn’t read the book and loved it.
Your husband has good taste. 🙂 I definitely need to read Midnight Sky. Going to add it to my Goodreads right now so I don’t forget.
The Black Klansman: Funny, serious, a timely movie.
Mudbound: Too many white people, OK (I really wanted the story focused elsewhere)
The Ritual: Book was terrifying! Movie OK.
Murder on the Orient Express: Branagh, don’t pretend hablar French
The Midnight Sky: Great ideas, but poor execution.
You and Michelle have convinced me that I should have read The Ritual!
Read it! I read it after the movie and it was just different enough to make it worthwhile. Plus, I pretty much always read the book, even if I see the movie first. 🙂
Okay, I’ll add it to my list.
