Well, it’s from GREEN EGGS AND HAM and it’s “Sam I am”. My daughter’s name is Samantha and when she was 2 she loved the book, but didn’t want to be called Sam because it was a boy’s name. When she got to be a teenager, she discovered that Sam was cool. We still call her “Sam I am” at times and she’s 27 and married for several years.

Oh – the rest all look sooooo familiar! It has been a long time since I read any of them though. One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish would make a cute nursery theme. Green Eggs & Ham was always my favorite – probably because I was a picky eater ;0)
