October’s Movies – help earn money for charity

It’s hard not to compare the two movies with hot hit men, especially since they were both fighting the Rusian mob.  Keanu’s came out  on top for me, but maybe that’s because I love him 🙂

Now it’s your turn.  Add your 5 words (or less!) to mine and earn $1 for charity.  Once we get to $100 the person with the most reviews will choose the charity.  Click here to see the past winners, the charities they chose and the other reviews you can add to.  Anyone is welcome to join in at any time.

I hope that you will take a few minutes to participate when you can each month.  It’s fun for me and for everyone else who reads it.  I’m not looking for a critical review, just a few words about how you felt about the movie.  This is ongoing so you can leave your 5 words anytime.

We’re up to $58!

  1. Heather says:

The Impossible: Beautiful story under tragic circumstances.

I only wish the actual family this was about was represented. They weren’t from the UK. She was a Spanish doctor.

  2. Literary Feline says:

I was sad the Equalizer wasn’t better. Not that I’ve seen it, but I do love Denzel Washington and I was a fan of the television show when I was a child (I watched with my dad who was a fan). The reviews have been pretty bad though.

I did like Gone Girl quite a bit. Thought the acting was great and overall the movie captured the feel and mood of the book.
