I watched 50 movies this year, up 10 from last year.
2019 was my most watched release year with 19.
I saw 15 of those at the movie theater and 6 were animated.
I wrote 1 Book vs. Movie post (The Little Prince).
I wrote 1 Fave Movie post (#51 Crash).
The oldest movie I watched was Little Shop Around the Corner, 1940.
Newest crush – RBG, The Opposite of Sex.
Cutest Couple – Harold & Maude, of course (Harold & Maude, 1971)
Most disappointing movie of the year, A Wrinkle in Time.
Most watched actor was Chris Evans (Cellular, Avengers Infinity War, Avengers Endgame, Knives Out)
Most watched actress was a 9 way tie with 9 actresses! That’s a first. Not worth listing them all 🙂
I continued my 5 Word Movie Reviews with $ for Charity . Keep adding to my reviews and maybe you can choose the next charity!
My 5 favorite movies this year
Ford vs. Ferrari, 2019
Avengers Endgame, 2019
Hacksaw Ridge, 2016
Green Book, 2018
On the Basis of Sex, 2018
Our favorite Netflix series that we watched this year were Marianne, The Haunting of Hill House, Ozark 2, Stranger Things 3. I’m always open to good suggestions!
Didn’t see Hacksaw Ridge of The Avengers. But absolutely agree with you on the other 3.
I think you’d like Hacksaw Ridge, It wasn’t what I was expecting.
My sister and I, along with our husbands, have a movie club on occasional Sundays where we share favorite movies. I want to share Crash this year. We just borrowed the Up series from the public library.
What a fun idea!
I feel sure Carl would love Ford v. Ferrari but we haven’t found the time to see it yet. Hopefully we’ll find some time before it leaves the theater.
It’s long so make sure you go somewhere with comfy seats!
I have yet to get to Stranger Things 3. Hope to get to it soon.
I haven’t seen any of your favorites. I think my favorite of the year was Knives Out.
I really liked Knives Out too 🙂
I didn’t see many movies in the theater this year, unfortunately. I seem to see more over the summer… Ford v. Ferrari is on my list. Avengers was definitely one of my faves too.
Marianne! so good. So creepy as well. I loved it. The Witcher was great too. It was one Archie and I watched together and it was fabulous and fun.
