February’s Movies

There has been sickness in the house for two weeks now, first Gage and now me.  I have a sinus infection that will not go away.  I started antibiotics on Friday so I’m hoping to feel the healing start any time now!

Another month and another chance to contribute money to charity.  Add your 5 words (or less!) to mine in a comment and earn $1 for charity.  Once we get to $100 the person with the most reviews will choose the charity.  Click here to see the past winners, the charities they chose and the other reviews you can add to.  Anyone is welcome to join in at any time.

We’re at $40.

I hope that you will take a few minutes to participate when you can each month.  It’s fun for me and for everyone else who reads it.  I’m not looking for a critical review, just a few words about how you felt about the movie.  This is ongoing so you can leave your 5 words anytime.

  1. Hope you’re all feeling better soon. We’ve been suffering with viruses and an ear infection here for the last couple of weeks. I’m hoping the warmer weather will bring us some relief from it all!

    • Thank you. Yesterday, for the first time in over a week, Jason told me I didn’t look sick, lololo.

    • I think they are starting to work but it’s been a slow process.

  3. Ugh, yes, warm weather will definitely help the sinuses (mine included!). Hope you are feeling better soon.

I need to get out more and see some movies. I have heard nothing but great things about Hidden Figures.

    • This is my first sinus infection and it was awful before I started taking drugs. Ugh.

      • At least you got some drugs! I get the viral kind, so there is not much I can do except nasal spray and wait a few weeks. Unfortunately I get a few every year due to the inflammation from allergies. Ok, too much information!

  4. John Wick: Just let me quit, okay? 😀

Loved it…almost as good as the first.

    • Heehee. Perfect! The shoot ’em shows are so not my thing that it cracks Jason up when I want to see John Wick. Love Keanu.

      • I know, right? 🙂 Sorry to hear you’ve been sick. I’ve been battling a chest cold (or something). Asked the boys’ pediatrician about it this morning. She said it could last for at least two weeks. Hopefully, I’m almost over it. Hope you guys are back to normal soon as well.

  6. Took myself to see Hidden Figures and it was better than I’d expected. Prompted me to look for the book but then I decided I really didn’t need to read it after seeing the movie. Kevin Costner was a surprise.

  7. Saw LaLaLand with a friend. Loved the way it all came together at the end. Just confirms those “what if’s” in life we all wonder about.
