I need another challenge like I need another 10 month old, but here I am, admitting I joined just one more. I’ve seen this one around every year and always meant to participate, but never got around to it, so this year in a moment of weakness I joined it. I think it’ll be fun.
Carl at Stainless Steel Droppings is hosting. Here are a few of the details if you are interested too.
The purpose of the R.I.P. Challenge is to enjoy books that could be classified as:
Mystery.
Suspense.
Thriller.
Dark Fantasy.
Gothic.
Horror.
Supernatural. The emphasis is never on the word challenge, instead it is about coming together as a community and embracing the autumnal mood, whether the weather is cooperative where you live or not.
I signed up to read two books before the end of October. Let me know if there is one that I just have to read.

This is a fun challenge. I did this one a couple of years ago. I should do it again. I just finished one zombie anthology and am reading another zombie book! I’m really excited about Halloween this year! Do you know which 2 books you’re going to read?
Good luck, Stacy!
I can’t resist this one every fall either – have fun Stacy.
I joined too Stacy, I am reading Amanda Stevens right now, Abandoned and now Restorer, really enjoying my first reads for RIP.
Hopefully, it will be an easy one to complete! But then again, it has been 20 since I’ve had an infant in the house! ;o) I just read The White Devil by Justin Evans that will fit this challenge quite well.
I second Marce’s The Restorer by Amanda Stevens – just an awesome book.
This is such a fun and easy challenge … you’ll love it!!! For horror, how about “Mean Things Your Cute Baby Will Say To You Sooner Than You Know.” HAHA!
