Off to France

Eric and Virginie have been our friends for over fours years and today they moved to Lyon, France with 10 month old Camille.  Jason and I will miss them and their friendship.  We wish them nothing but happiness and a house big enough for guests 🙂  We are already looking forward to our trip to France.

Don’t be dismayed at goodbyes.  A farewell is necessary before you can meet again.  And meeting again , after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends.”     -Richard Bach

I feel your pain. We are in San Diego and just had dinner with friends (12 years) who just moved down. It’s good to reconnect, but won’t happen often (and we are only a few hours apart).

I liked the look of your responses so much that I copied it 🙂

Oh my! We lived in Ste. Foy-les-Lyon, which is right outside of Lyon for 2 years. You will have a wonderful time when you visit them!

You seem to have moved around quite a bit. Is the Bermuda from your name because you’ve lived there?

Oh, you have to do LibraryThing! There are lots of great resources and reviews on there. When you join, add me as a friend – I’m bermudaonion, of course.

I know, I know. I need to set aside a few hours to get started, but keep putting it off. It will be a goal this week 🙂

We miss you too and are looking forward to see you this summer in Lyon. Check Camille’s blog once in a while, I will write in English now and then.

Maybe I can use the blog to learn a little French before our trip 🙂 Jason’s boss did tell him that a work trip to Paris was possible- Yea! I thought your pictures of Maine were great.
