Highlights of the Week – It’s over.

Currently Reading Title: Dear Edward (Barnes & Noble Book Club Edition), Author: Ann Napolitano The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Wa… Morning Meditations: Awaken Your Power …  This looks like a broken record.  Gage was home sick, I was sick.  Not much got done.

Currently Listening Title: How Not to Die Alone, Author: Richard Roper

Finished Watching Altered Carbon Season 2 on Netflix.  Not as good as the first season, but some good stuff in there.

Plans for the weekend Most everything is closed here.  Ohio has 5 confirmed cases of Coronavirus and they’re all here in our area so we are limiting ourselves to the house this weekend.  I’m working at the Ohio primary elections on Tuesday and I’m not thrilled about the exposure.

I’m hoping some of my positivity will come back next week.  Share some of your happiness with me.  What were your highlights of the week?

There are around 100 cases in Florida. I’m staying home other than going to work. I work for Advent Health in a Rehab Center/Nursing Home. I do spend some time out with the patients and CNA/Nurses but I’m staying positive.

We are up to 36 now from 5. :-/ How fast it has grown – what, in about 3 days? And this is just the people who are getting tested. I’m positive the actual number is much higher. Stay safe and I hope Gage gets better soon!

  3. Diane says:

There are 29 confirmed cases in our state (1) in our county but, I’m sure it’s so low because testing hasn’t been available. Schools, libraries, senior centers etc are closed effective Monday. Stay safe Stacy.

Now that testing is getting easier I’m sure we’ll see the numbers soar. The concentration of cases is in our region (and in my immediate area) and the first positive had symptoms as early as Feb. 5. That’s a long time to be spreading it around. It doesn’t help that Gage has been sick on and off for a month already. Stay well Diane!

I’m sorry you and Gage have been sick. It’s hard to get anything done when you don’t feel well and you are trying to take care of your child. The constant drone of bad news does not help. We are trying to stay outside in the sunshine and away from people as much as we can. Keeping you and Gage in our thoughts and prayers.

We are at over 100 in my Australian state, and the numbers are rising quickly, schools are still open though other measures are being enacted. At least Gage now has plenty of time to recuperate without the pressure to return to school I suppose.

Wishing you a great reading week, and good health.

  6. Mary says:

Schools in my state are off for the next month. My daughter is trying to maintain a positive attitude 🙂 As of last night there are 33 confirmed cases in WI.

Our numbers keep rising too. Stay safe and healthy! I started Altered Carbon with the husband last night. Watched two. It’s a bit confusing but overall we’re getting into it. But so far I agree that it’s not quite as good as the first season.

I’ve been reading my same books for weeks now… I’m getting more reading in at night with Gabe before bed! Hugs!
