It’s been a merry Christmas here with a day we all stayed in our jammies. We introduced Gage to Home Alone for the first time 🙂 I hope you all had a great day, and that you all received at least one gift that you loved as much as Sammi loved her new green mouse. For Gage it was the microscope Santa brought him. He spent hours making slides.
I read a book that I had given my mother at Thanksgiving and she gave back to me yesterday saying that she loved it. Today was a perfect time for the short read The Purpose of Christmas by Rick Warren. At only 127 pages it was a quick read about the reason we celebrate Christmas and all of the ways that Jesus Christ has changed the world and how we can accept him and do the same. He wrote it for believers and non-believers alike.
Merry Christmas! Hope you all had a wonderful one. Wishing you joy ahead in the new year. 🙂
Sounds like a beautiful way to spend Christmas! We watched Home Alone 1 and 2 and Elf!
It sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas! Ours was merry and bright – we decided to watch Christmas Vacation which was fun.
What a lovely time you guys had! So happy for you and I’m delighted that Gage had a fun time with his new microscope. We did not end up watching any movie yesterday as we spent a lot of the day at my husband’s brother’s house for family time. However, we did go see the new Star Wars movie on Christmas Eve. It was good, but we’re still most fond of the original 3 (which are 4, 5, and 6). Have a good weekend!
THe original 3 plus 1 are the only ones I’ve seen 🙂 Good to see you!
I’ve been volunteering at the wildlife refuge open house all day today, and, oh my, one of the most popular parts was the viewing of pond water under the microscope. You’ll never jump into a pond again!
