May’s movies & $ for charity

How as your movie month?  Anything I need to see?

Add your 5 words (or less!) to mine in a comment and earn $1 for charity.  Once we get to $100 the person with the most reviews will choose the charity.  Click here to see the past winners, the charities they chose and the other reviews you can add to.  Anyone is welcome to join in at any time.

We’re at $55.

I hope that you will take a few minutes to participate when you can each month.  It’s fun for me and for everyone else who reads it.  I’m not looking for a critical review, just a few words about how you felt about the movie.  This is ongoing so you can leave your 5 words anytime.

Snow White – Grumpy is my favorite – married him! (I know – 6 words) Bought my husband a mug at Disneyworld the last time we were there – ‘Beneath this grumpy exterior beats the heart of a dashing hero.’ And it’s so true! LOL

Haven’t seen any of the others. Nor have I read INFERNO, but I think I own it. Not sure why we needed a Smurf movie now, but I know that we didn’t need another Alien movie. That first one from so long ago was the first and only movie that I ever actually screamed aloud in a theater. And my husband, who was my boyfriend at the time, died laughing. Whew!

Alien: Covenant: What? OMG, I loved it!

I have to add on that last one. I’ve long been a fan of the Alien franchise and Prometheus is a movie I really loved…and would call a top 20 favorite (maybe even ten) so I liked the aspects of Covenant tying to Prometheus (Fassbender…what a fantastic actor), but still liked Prometheus more (I’ve probably watched it more than 20 times to date 🙂 ).
