Hmmm . . . If I had to guess, I would venture that the first picture is of the Denver skyline, probably taken at Denver City Park. Based on the hint of color in the leaves, I suspect the picture was taken in October. And I think that cloud formation was from 2005.
Not as sure about the second picture. The best I can say is that it appears to be a mountin. In the summer.
