Fave Pic 
Last weekend I went to the Botanical Garden to pick up supplies for Gage’s week of at-home camp and found that some of the participants in theParade the Circle decided to get together even though the popular event was cancelled. There were more participants than this but aren’t they cool? They put on a parade for the 40 people who just happened to be there. I was lucky to be one of the few to have our own personal parade 🙂 This also counts for a highlight of the week.
Highlights of the Week Gage had his first play date – outside at the school parking lot riding bikes. I shopped at a store other than a grocery store the first time since February. I needed a Father’s Day gift and Tuesday Morning was having a going out of business sale. Everyone but one person was wearing a mask so that was good. I had a fellow Friends of the Library member come over to go over some plans. We sat on our patio about 10 feet apart. Baby steps and it’s pretty much all I’m comfortable with right now. It was nice to get back to some sense of normalcy.

After I saw this on Instagram I mentioned to Jason that if he ever needed a gift idea for me this was it. This week he surprised me with it. I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to have a Keanu coloring book 🙂
Movies watched 
Last Saturday night we started our first family movie night. We started at 8pm and Gage could stay up as long as he could stay awake. You can see we chose come classics this first time. He made it through all three beating Jason and me. He went to bed at 1:30am and wants to do it every weekend, lol. We’ve decided to make it a monthly thing.
Watching We started season 4 of Bosch on Amazon Prime and did watch the pilot of Dead to Me. I’m interested in watching more, do any of you watch it?

We haven’t started to venture out yet other than grocery shop for necessities. I did have my older son and his family for dinner on the deck last night. We separated on two tables and each family had their own serving spoons. It’s a start!. Then Botanical Garden parade looks like fun!
I don’t plan on shopping in a store again anytime soon, but it was fun while it lasted 🙂
And I used Instacart today, so my venturing out is baby steps all the way. We’re going to try a deck hangout with our friends next week and I’m so looking forward to it.
We watched the first series of Dead to Me and really enjoyed it. I haven’t yet made it to season 2 but we will!
We haven’t been going out much, I’ve been ordering groceries etc. online. I did make a trip to WM yesterday because I’ve been waiting for them to start accepting clothing returns for a few months now. The store wasn’t crowded at all and most people had on masks and followed the “This Way” signs on the floor.
I haven’t had a family movie night (with my grown kids and grandkids) since a while before “stay at home” went into effect. I’m hoping we’ll pick it back up soon.
I love seeing all the things you did this week, and it’s nice to see how safely you did everything. Our great-nephew had a drive-by sixth birthday party and he told his mom afterward that it was “the best party ever!” Kids adjust, I hope.
Flawed sounds like a good read. I think I will look for the film, too.

I watched Flawed – thanks again for linking to the video! Our library opened last week so I made a quick visit to pick up some reserves. They still do curbside service but I went in (wore my mask). I was greeted by a volunteer who offered hand sanitizer 🙂 Have a good week, Stacy!

The movie night sounds fun! We haven’t done anything like that yet mainly because our youngest is too young but I’d like to start something with the older one at least.

We’ve been super careful as well Stacy. I got my first haircut in 4 mths yesterday (no color) and it was the first appt. just me and hairdresser in our masks). Glad Gage got to ride his bike with a friend. Our library is just doing curbside. I think in the next phase of reopening they will open for good. It’s actually been good, reading more of my own books or downloading from library. I do miss my book group though.
