Our train made it to Rome in an hour and a half! We are getting ready to head out to the Spanish Steps and other fun stuff. Rome is enormous!

The Vatican, statue of Teresa of Avila by Michaelangelo, the Sistine Chapel.
The Forum and the Colosseum are amazing.
I love the Circus Maximus. I got a real feeling of chariots and horses rushing around.
There are just so many streets to wander through.
Didn’t visit the catacombs, they are meant to be quite amazing.

Thanks! We are off to the Vatican tomorrow. Jason is excitied about the Circus Maximus. I love visiting all of the wonderful churches that we happen across. I am enjoying Rome more than I thought I would. I knew Jason would like it, but I wasn’t sure about me.
